Affirmative (potvrdni oblik)
Long form (neskraćeni oblik)
Present Continuous is formed of the auxiliary TO BE (AM, IS, ARE) + the main verb with the ending -ING.
(Present Continuous tvori se od pomoćnog glagola BITI (AM, IS, ARE) te glavnog glagola s nastavkom -ING.)
• I am talking (ja govorim)
• You are talking (ti govoriš)
• He / She / It is talking (on /ona / ono govori)
• We are talking (mi govorimo)
• You are talking (vi govorite)
• They are talking (oni govore)
Short form (skraćeni oblik)
The short form is formed of the shortened auxiliary TO BE (AM, IS, ARE) + the main verb with the ending -ING.

Interrogative (upitni oblik)
The interrogative is formed with the auxiliary verb TO BE (AM, ARE, IS) in front of the subject followed by the main verb with the ending -ING.

Spelling (pravila pisanja)
When verbs end in one stressed vowel between consonants, we double the final consonant.
(Kada glagol završava nenaglašenim samoglasnikom između suglasnika, tada zadnji suglasnik udvostručujemo.)
• swim – swimming (plivati – plivam)
• sit -sitting (sjediti – sjedim)
• stir – stirring (miješati – miješam)
BUT (ALI)
• walk – walking (hodati – hodam)
• wait – waiting (čekati – čekam)
• open – opening (otvoriti – otvaram)
